Kalanchoe daigremontiana | Mother of Thousands
Kalanchoe daigremontiana | Mother of Thousands
Kalanchoe daigremontiana, commonly known as Mother of Thousands. 5+ pups in soil a 2.5 inch plastic pot. While most pups will be rooted, there may also be some pups included which have not yet taken root.
The hardy succulent Mother of Thousands gets its name from its fascinating self-propagation method of growing its pups on its outstretched leaves. The pups then fall off the mother plant and quickly take root.
Care Instructions: Succulent plants are among the hardiest, most drought-tolerant in the world and very easy to maintain, as long as they are planted in a porous cactus/succulent soil, given proper drainage, daily bright light, and not overwatered.
Soil: This plant will grow relatively quickly in the summer months. Your pups may need to be repotted into bigger pots on delivery. Use a succulent or cactus soil amended with extra perlite or pumice.
Light: Bright indirect.
Watering: This plant is especially intolerant to overwatering, so it's best to err on the side of underwatering. Water thoroughly when the entire pot is completely dry.
